Cups of Cheer

Hello everyone! I'm so excited for my first blog post and first post with On Point! With Christmas all around, the beautiful blankets of snow we've gotten recently, and my children continually wanting hot cocoa, I decided to set up a little hot cocoa bar in our house. This would be a perfect addition to a Christmas Party, great for a wintery- staff meeting or event, or just fun to have at a small get together with friends. There are so many varieties of hot cocoa bars, which can be done on a scale small (as I have here) or much larger.

You'll see so many things about his hot cocoa bar in the photos below, but I particularly love the gold details on this little bar - nothing says Christmas to me more than a little red and gold, which adds just a bit of shine!

Using Baker's Twine is a common occurrence for me, and it sure doesn't disappoint in this occasion. Paired with tags ready for guests to label their "cups of cheer," it's just looking adorable.

Here you see a collections of mini coffee cups, perfect for kid-sized drinks. They are a must in our house when I make hot cocoa so adding them to my cocoa bar was a no-brainer!

Since 'tis the season of giving, I thought it was perfect to send guests who visit home with a "cup of cheer" for later. I love when guests leave a gathering feeling like every detail was on point, and that they were a guest of honor for being invited. As I always say, the love is in the details, ya'll.

If you'd like me to set up an adorable hot cocoa bar at your next event, shoot me an e-mail (brittany@shineonpoint.com)!

Thanks for visiting!

-Brittany
